Referee winks at Jared Goff as Chiefs rack up penalties in loss

thumbnail_Screenshot_2018-11-19-23-38-47The Chiefs in the first quarter of Monday Night Football were on pace for a record-setting amount of penalties as an angry Andy Reid confronted Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Jared Goff approaching the Chiefs sideline.

Reid was visibly angry challenging the Chiefs 6th penalty of the first quarter, Jared Goff began to wonder over Reid and the officiating crew.

Reid began to redirect his ire toward Goff standing near, after a few words Reid walks away angrily.

Following the minor confrontation an official winks at Goff. Reid won the challenge, and the Rams converted a field goal to extend their lead 16-7.

Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes would tie the game before halftime with his breakneck style of play.

However, the Rams offense continued to surge in the 2nd half putting up 31 points in the 2nd half.

The Chiefs kept pace seizing the lead in the 4th, but turnovers and penalties are too much.

The Rams win a barn burner of a game 54-51.
