This week, news broke that Lebron James became a minority owner of the Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox. This conjured thoughts of National Football League’s ownership.
The NFL is 75% black with, three black head coaches, five general mangers, 0 majority black owners. The MLB has no majority black owners. However, it’s only 7.8% black, 80 players. The NBA is the only American sports league with a black majority team owner, Michael Jordan.
